Funded in 2013 by NINDS, TRACK-TBI collects and analyzes clinical data on TBI patients and control subjects at 18 U.S. level 1 trauma centers. TRACK-TBI enrolls patients from across the injury spectrum from concussion to severe TBI. Experienced clinical coordinators at each site collect CT/MRI imaging, blood biospecimen, and detailed clinical outcome assessments. TRACK-TBI patients participate in the study for 1 year with follow up visits at 2-weeks, 3-months, 6-months, and 12-months post injury.

Currently, TRACK-TBI has enrolled over 2,700 patients with TBI and 300 orthopedic trauma controls. For more information on TRACK-TBI including resources for researchers, visit the TRACK-TBI website.
