Funded in 2013 by NINDS, the observational TRACK-TBI study met its enrollment goal of 3,000 having collected and analyzed clinical data on TBI patients and control subjects at 18 U.S. level 1 trauma centers. TRACK-TBI enrolled patients from across the injury spectrum from concussion to severe TBI. Experienced clinical coordinators at each site collected CT/MRI imaging, blood biospecimen, and detailed clinical outcome assessments. TRACK-TBI patients participate in the study for 1 year with follow up visits at 2-weeks, 3-months, 6-months, and 12-months post injury.
